TacCon 3MR Trigger System

There is a new AR trigger about to hit the market by storm. The Trigger is called the TacCon 3MR Trigger System and it is being produced by a new company called Tactical Fire Control, Inc. This trigger system is unique because it has a safe, semi, and 3rd trigger option. This 3rd option gives the trigger a positive reset characteristic that allows the trigger to be pressed at an incredibly rapid rate of fire. Although not automatic it is capable of shooting extremely fast and is a non NFA item approved by the BATF.

The design of the sear engagement is similar to high quality match grade triggers and the third mode makes the reset of the trigger seem to be automatic so all you have to do is press as fast as you can. By using NP3 for abrasion resistance, low coefficient of friction, and hardness, the life span of these triggers is greatly increased. One trigger was tested over ten thousand rounds and then measured to see the change in the engagement surfaces. After the ten thousand rounds, the trigger had minimal to no significant change in engagement surfaces and was deemed ready for more endurance testing. The extremely high quality of these parts combined with the unbeatable advantageous of NP3 make for a revolutionary trigger. Pre orders start December 1st from TacFirecon.com

This is another example of high quality metal parts using NP3 to offer the best product available.

  1. If you (i.e. robarguns.com) did in fact directly test this device, I’d like to know, functionally, what it amounts to.

My suspicion is that it may – MAY – permit a ‘bump fire’ like end result, by forcing the trigger back to a reset position.

Is this the case, or is there still a requirement for a full, conscious, pull of the trigger for each shot fired?
